Ms. Libardo has been a certified speech-language pathologist since 1999. Her area of specialization is working with children and adults from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Her practice reflects current research in multilingualism and cultural influences in English acquisition. Services for adults include effective speaking techniques and accent modification using research-based assessment and intervention.
Ms. Libardo received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Arizona State University. She completed postgraduate work in Severe and Profound Communication Disorders from the University of South Carolina. She is a certified instructor for the Hanen Programs for Parents and Educators and certified through the Canadian Association of Speech Language Pathologists / Audiologist, American Speech-Language and Hearing Association, and the BC Association of Speech Language Pathologists / Audiologists. She is an approved RASP provider for ASD services.
